The Green River

he Green River project is one of the most significant initiatives in the city’s first phase, aiming to establish the world’s largest park. Serving as a central hub for development in the capital, it provides a general retreat for various neighborhoods within the city. The project is implemented in multiple consecutive stages, forming the largest gathering of central parks. Respecting the natural topography of the area and harmonizing with the overall ecosystem, the project offers entertainment areas with global standards. Easily accessible through an integrated network of pedestrian and cycling paths, citizens from diverse societal segments will enjoy these spaces.The Central Parks project is divided into three homogeneous planning sectors from west to east, each connected to the immediate surroundings, reflecting distinctive visual and architectural characteristics:

Sector CP 01: Covering an area of 375 acres, this sector includes over 250 acres of open recreational areas and a collection of distinguished projects reflecting its character. These include the Islamic Garden, the Covered Garden, the Social Club, the Integrated Spa Resort, lakes, and a restaurant.
Sector CP 02: Spanning 306 acres, this sector serves as a central hub for cultural and recreational activities, featuring over 240 acres of open recreational areas. Distinguished projects in this part of the parks include the Artistic Business Garden, the Heritage Garden, the Entertainment Games Area, celebration squares, and an open-air theater, with a total area exceeding 60 acres.
Sector CP 03: With an area of 309 acres, this sector embodies the nature and uniqueness of public gardens, closely linked to the immediate surroundings, particularly the Central Business District (CBD). Encompassing around 250 acres of open recreational areas, this part of the parks includes a Children's Educational Garden, an open library with reading gardens, the Central Plaza, restaurant areas, and the Recreational Sports Club, totaling more than 50 acres.
